BE INSPIRED
Sorrel and her husband Chris live in the most easterly house on Norfolk Island, so they are blessed with a ringside seat when it comes to viewing the sunrise and displays by Norfolk's best known natural wonders: the seabirds. Forest birds and vagrant wetland species also visit quite regularly, snacking on insects the feral chooks have managed to overlook.
“Throughout history, birds have been integral to human life. We’ve worshipped, hunted and observed them for eons. We’ve worn their feathers in caps and capes and studied their wings to engineer flight. They inspire us all to soar beyond our limits; with purpose, tenacity and grace.”
