Coral reef systems throughout the world are increasingly under pressure from changes to water temperature and quality. It’s an unforgiving double-whammy that marine biologists and marine park managers are constantly reckoning with. Making sure we protect what we still have - while we still can - should be a key priority for Norfolk. For our reef, although diminished and compromised in recent years, is still one of nature’s great marvels. 

There are schools of fish in every direction, each more colourful than the next. And Green Sea Turtles sheltering beneath the plate corals. It is impossible not to be amazed; to lose yourself in the wonder of it all.”
